Salary / Compensation

• $1,000 – $1,700 weekly gross (based on miles, bonuses, and route)

• $4,000 sign-on bonus for drivers with 6+ months experience

• Perks: tarp / securement pay, stop pay, detention pay, breakdown pay, cross-town / Chicago loads pay

• Mileage pay: $0.53 – $0.70 per mile with annual increases and performance bonuses

• All scales, tolls, lumper fees paid by company

Job Description

Join Decker Truck Line as a Class A CDL Company Driver specializing in flatbed freight. This OTR role offers consistent miles, premium equipment, and the support of a well-established company. Drivers handle 100% no-touch freight but must perform tarping and load securement.

Responsibilities

• Drive long-haul, over-the-road flatbed routes

• Haul building materials (lumber, steel, coils, etc.)

• Perform tarp / load securement as required

• Adhere to DOT / FMCSA & state regulations

• Maintain proper communication with dispatch and fleet managers

• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections, follow maintenance protocols

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL license

• Minimum 6 months CDL A driving experience

• Clean driving record / clean MVR

• Ability to meet FMCSA / DOT standards

• Capability to perform securement & tarping work

• Dependable, safety-minded, and professional attitude
